nx-gen-ui

An experimental agent that generates user interfaces on the fly, composed from the nx-ui component library. Built with Mastra, CopilotKit and the AG-UI protocol. Two demos, two patterns — compare what each can do.

UI Composer
Declarative
The agent emits a JSON tree of nx-ui components. The app validates it against the generated component catalog and mounts the real components. Open-ended generative UI, constrained to the design system.

Ops Assistant
Curated
Predefined Mastra tools whose results are rendered by hand-built nx-ui composites. The baseline pattern: safe and polished, but the agent can only render what was built for it in advance.

Try:

  • what sites do we have?
  • summarise waste for the Bristol site

Requires the Mastra server running on :4111 (bun run dev:mastra) with an LLM API key configured.
